MENTALLY ILL AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSING ADOLESCENT PROGRAM

Is your adolescent out of control, depressed, showing signs
of extreme highs and lows, in legal trouble, or failing in school?

Are you concerned that perhaps your adolescent is abusing
alcohol or other drugs?

ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT TEAM (ACT)

A community based intensive team treatment program for transition age (16-25) young people. Services include medications; mental health and substance abuse treatment; educational/vocational, housing, employment and peer counseling. It is an integrated, caring and comprehensive 24/7 program for the chronically ill individual who has had 3 or more hospitalizations in one year.

HIV+ AND HEP C CONSUMER MEDICAL SERVICES AND CASE MANAGEMENT

If you are concerned about your health and worried whether or not you could have contracted HIV or HEP C, you can call Berks Counseling Center for a confidential consultation and testing.

Our experienced medical staff is ready to provide for your medical needs if you are HIV positive or have Hepatitis C. Case management will ensure that you have access to community resources that can be of assistance to you.

FORENSICS

Berks Counseling Center provides chemical dependency and mental health treatment to those individuals who are returning to society from incarceration in either the State or Federal penal institutions. Trained and experienced staff, who work with the criminal justice population to provide specialized treatment services, assisting this group in their adjustment back into society.

CASE MANAGEMENT

Berks Counseling Center is committed to ensuring that all consumers who are in need of supportive services and need assistance in accessing the service system are able to do so. A case manager will assess service needs and discuss with the consumer the service options available. Consumers will be referred to the appropriate agencies for needed services.

MATERNAL DEPENDENCY PROGRAM

A non-resident partial hospitalization, gender specific, treatment model for mothers with chemical dependency. It is an intensive 4 to 6 week program with child care available.

if you want to get well and yet worry about how you are going to care for your child or children this is the place to go.
