This prestigious award is granted to non-profit organizations who have demonstrated the ability to work in real partnerships, develop and implement effective, innovative programs that have an impact on access to healthcare, and on their track record of achievement and responsiveness to community needs.

Berks Counseling Center (BCC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation founded in 1977. BCC is licensed by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Health Division of Program Licensing to provide outpatient alcohol/drug and partial hospitalization treatment for persons afflicted with chemical dependency. The Agency is licensed by the Department of Public Welfare to provide outpatient mental health services.
